Rae has spent most of her working life involved in social care. Challenging the status quo and finding authentic and creative ways to support individuals with their lives has been at the forefront of her career. Rae's philosophy while working with children, adults and family groups experiencing physical, social, emotional, and economic challenges has been to focus on and utilise the strengths we all have - to develop them in order to thrive, no matter our circumstances - and to find ways to improve our lives in multiple ways.
Studying for a Postgraduate degree in Dance and Movement Therapy (University of Hertfordshire) and holding academic degrees in both Social Work (BSc from University of Bath) and Theology (BTh from University of Oxford) Rae has made social, emotional, and intellectual learning and development a strong part of her life, as well as supporting it in others.
With a passion for the creative arts (writing, photography and dance playing essential roles in her wellbeing) Rae has utilised her skills and enthusiasm to support not-for-profit social, health, and environmental organisations with their educational outreach missions, alongside providing skilled support to individuals in making their internal, psychological worlds as accessible as their physical realities.
